Air freight transport, customs clearance and oversized cargo transport are specialized services that Dacotrans offers. As a part of our committment to provide a complete solution to our clients' freight transport needs to and from Costa Rica, Dacotrans has spun off two companies whose services integrate with ours, Tika Line Services and Daco Heavy Lift.
Tika Line Services
TLS is DACOTRANS's own customs agency. It carries out DACOTRANS's customs clearances and acts as a permanent advisor in all transport operations.
Tika Line Services specializes in:
- Public and private projects
- Clearance and delivery of DDU and DDP project cargo
- Legal and technical customs advisory
TLS has become a business partner to its clients. In every operation it takes on the logistics and coordination of cargo delivery. Its clients find TLS trustworthy and effective.

Daco Heavy Lift de Centroamerica
Specialized in oversized cargo, it performs overweight and extradimentional inland haulage, as well as the lifting and delivery of heavy lift cargo pieces over foundations in Costa Rica, other countries in Central America, and the Caribbean. Due to fast expansion, we have our own equipment including 22 hydraulic axel lines, special trailers, low beds, overbridges to avoid damage to bridges with limited capacity, hydraulic jacking systems to lift and install over foundations pieces of up to 800 tons, and our latest acquisition is a special trailer for the transport of beer tanks. Daco Heavy Lift was established in 1997 in Guatemala City.
